V\u00e4dret erbj\u00f6d sol och bl\u00e5st med n\u00e5gra minusgrader. V\u00e5rk\u00e4nslan fr\u00e5n f\u00f6reg\u00e5ende vecka var som bortbl\u00e5st och vintern tog ett grepp om dagen. Vid parkeringen i Gysinge sammanstr\u00e5lade vi med tv\u00e5 till och tillsammans vandrade vi l\u00e4ngst med den gamla j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gen ut i F\u00e4rnebofj\u00e4rdens Nationalpark. Vid Gysinge herrg\u00e5rd stannade vi och tog en fika bakom Naturum med utsikt \u00f6ver forsen och med solen v\u00e4rmandes i ansiktet. D\u00e4r vi fick en uppvisning av den skickliga simmaren och dykaren, str\u00f6mstaren. Exkursionen fortsatte l\u00e4ngst med broarna \u00f6ver fj\u00e4rden bort fr\u00e5n G\u00e4vleborgs l\u00e4n i riktning mot mer bekantare mark, Uppsala l\u00e4n. Ett dussintal str\u00f6mstarar visade gladeligen upp sig l\u00e4ngt med forsen och i det lite lugnare vattnen fick vi sammanlagt syn p\u00e5 ca 70 stycken knipor. I de termikvindar som solens skapat f\u00e5r vi en spektakul\u00e4r uppvisning av sju cirkulerande havs\u00f6rnar, vilket tillsammans med det vi tidigare fick syn p\u00e5 under morgonen kan r\u00e4knas till totalt elva stycken.<\/p><p><br><\/p><p style=\"font-size: 16px\">Med str\u00f6mstarana t\u00e4tt bredvid och havs\u00f6rnar cirkulerande runt oss letar vi ivrigt efter en utter som vi hoppas f\u00e5 syn p\u00e5. Det dyker upp ett d\u00e4ggdjur precis d\u00e4r vi parkerat bilarna och ett hopp om att dagen ska avslutas med en utter sprider sig, men det visade sig vara en inte allt f\u00f6r blyg mink ist\u00e4llet. Dagen avslutas med n\u00e5gra fallande toner fr\u00e5n talltitan som satt och sj\u00f6ng i skogen bakom bilarna. \u00c4ven fast dagen bara bj\u00f6d p\u00e5 en liten skara hackspettar var det en v\u00e4ldigt bra exkursion med mycket trevligt s\u00e4llskap och andra fina f\u00e5glar.
